BUILTERRA TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION
Once the Builterra System is delivered and staff start to use it, training may be required to ensure adoption success. Here is a list of applied training programs made available after the initial pilot project scope.
Training Methods and Materials
In the time of COVID, the training described below will be 100% virtual using an approved training platform like Microsoft Teams, GotoMeeting or Zoom as specified by the subscriber. The sessions are generally 3hrs in length and done using powerpoint and embedded video showing DEMO account samples and project data. The same video is posted to the Builterra Training Portal in 5 min segments for users access post-training. This means, users can get the initial training with the confidence that they can review any section of the training in detail afterwards, in their own time.
Platform Administration Training
This is an important training program for the IT Managers or Builterra Administrator who is responsible for managing users, key configurations, rights and security of the platform. The key learning objectives are as follows:
Inspection Manager Training
This is an important training program for the senior contract administrator or field manager who is responsible for configuring the mobile data collection forms for field staff. The key learning objectives are as follows:
o Inspection Form creation and editing
o Lookup List Management including Cascading Lookups
o Adding calculated Form Field Equations to the Form
o Managing Data Entry Templates
Project Manager Training
This is an important training program for the project manager who is responsible for assigning tasks, getting approvals, reviewing bids and inspections and progress payments. The key learning objectives are as follows:

Contract Administrator Training
This is an important training program for the construction contract administrator who is responsible for assigning tasks, approving the inspections, contract quantities, progress payments, releases, holdbacks each month. The key learning objectives are as follows:

o Getting Inspection Report Approvals from External Contractors

Field Inspector Training
This is an important training program for the field staff required to use the released mobile forms and accessing the inspection reporting using the web portal. The key learning objectives are as follows:

o Capturing Photos and Doing a Markup to as Photo
o Editing the Inspection Data already submitted
o Using Data Entry Templates

Online Training (Post-Training Delivery)
The Builterra online training portal is included for all users. Workflow videos, how to scripts and evaluation questionnaires provide all users with some ability to become “certified” in certain aspects of the product platform. Link to the Training Portal - https://portal.builterra.com/Training
Custom Online Training
With large clients, we can provide account specific online training to support large rollouts and specific workflow requirements. The videos and scripts will be added to the standard Online Training portal as part of the implementation process. Typically, these videos and script materials are used in the Rollout training with staff, so the material will be familiar port-training.
